One northbound lane of the Hume Highway is still closed south of Gundagai after a truck rollover.

A Live Traffic NSW Facebook just after 1.30pm post confirmed the B-double was carrying cheese when it tipped at Tumblong around 3am on Thursday, October 23.

"As we speak, 60 tonnes of cheese is being unloaded from the truck. By my reckoning, that's enough cheese for about six hen's night charcuterie boards," the post read.

"A heavy tow is on the way to the scene, along with half the mice in the NSW Riverina area."
