MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A Hampton man is facing multiple charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a child and making child sexual abuse images.

Investigators arrested 54-year-old Stephen Hopping Jr. after executing a search warrant at a Hampton home.

He is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, felonious sexual assault, and manufacture of child sexual abuse images.

Hopping pleaded not guilty and was released on personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in November.
