Award-winning actor Brian Cox has pledged his support to a national anti-poverty campaign , calling on the UK and Scottish governments to deliver on "their promises to reduce poverty".
As part of the Scotland Demands Better (SDB) campaign, the Scottish actor said both governments must do more to reduce the number of people living below the poverty line. It comes ahead of an SDB march and rally in Edinburgh on Saturday, which is expected to be supported by nearly 300 anti-poverty groups, trade unions, faith groups, environmentalists, as well as other charities and organisations.
