SEASIDE, Oregon – Thousands of sea cucumbers have unexpectedly covered a stretch of sand in Seaside Beach, creating a unique sight for both locals and visitors.
This phenomenon was caused by heavy surf and low tide, leading to the sea cucumbers being exposed on the sand.
According to Tiffany Boothe from the Seaside Aquarium, these creatures are typically buried in the sand.
Boothe anticipates that the sea cucumbers will disappear by today, leaving the beach clean once again.
