Bhubaneswar : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the formation of a fresh low pressure area over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal tomorrow.

This weather system is expected to develop under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation currently present over the southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea, extending up to middle tropospheric levels.

According to the IMD, the low pressure area is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a more significant weather system within the subsequent 24 hours.

However, the weather experts are closely monitoring its progression for any further intensification or potential cyclonic activity.
