Durwood Coffey's artwork is on display at Monroe County Community College , 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe. The exhibit will run through Nov. 11 at the Campbell Academic Center Library, according to a community announcement.

Coffey, a former combat artist in the United States Marine Corps, has a background in fine art and illustration. After his military service, he pursued a career in illustration, working with major corporations such as Detroit Edison, Anheuser-Busch, General Motors, SeaWorld, Capital Cities and Marvel Comics.
