A heartfelt Adyashraddha and remembrance ceremony was held in Bokakhat on Thursday to mark one month since the passing of Assam’s musical icon, Zubeen Garg.

The solemn event was organised under the initiative of former MLA Jiten Gogoi, in collaboration with the Bokakhat Nirman Gut, at the premises of the Bokakhat Industrial Training Centre (ITC).

The ceremony drew an emotional gathering of Zubeen Garg’s family members, veteran actor Arun Hazarika, and hundreds of admirers who came together to celebrate the life and legacy of the legendary artist. Zubeen's uncle Manoj Borthakur and Garima Saikia's brother was also among the attendees at the ceremony.
