1992: Michael Jordan’s name surfaced during the drug and money-laundering trial of convicted cocaine dealer James “Slim” Bouler . Jordan initially said a check to Bouler for $57,000 was a business loan. Under oath, Jordan acknowledged the check was payment for gambling losses.
