Fans of the "Lord of the Rings" films directed by Peter Jackson will have the opportunity in Boston to meet the actors who played Hobbits in the movies

The actors on hand will include Sean Astin, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and Elijah Wood

The event is called, "An Evening with the Hobbits: In Celebration of 25 Years"

Then you'll want to be at the FAN EXPO Boston in 2026 , because some Hobbits are coming to town.

"Twenty-five years ago, four grateful Hobbits left the Shire and changed the face of fantasy forever," a release stated, noting it was the year 2000 when the first installment in the saga called, "Fellowship of the Ring," premiered in theaters.

And the rest, as they say, is history.
