The Iowa DOGE task force's recently released report contains sprawling recommendations to promote government efficiency.

The task force Gov. Kim Reynolds appointed dropped its final, 136-page report Oct. 21, with 45 recommendations for streamlining state and local government. Reynolds created the task force in February, modeling it after Trump's Department of Goverment Efficiency run by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Reynolds' administration will review the recommendations before deciding which to implement or incorporate into proposed legislation as Reynolds faces her last legislative session as governor in 2026.
