A Patna-bound SpiceJet flight returned to Delhi shortly after take-off on Thursday after the crew suspected a technical glitch, ANI quoted the airline saying. The Boeing 737-8A aircraft was grounded for a comprehensive investigation after the crew noticed a possible technical issue mid-air.

An alternate flight was arranged

In an official statement, the airline said, ‘’On October 23, 2025, SpiceJet flight SG 497 operating from Delhi to Patna returned to Delhi after take off due to a technical glitch…an alternate aircraft was arranged to accommodate the passengers, which is now en route to Patna.’’ The plane made a normal landing, as reported by PTI.
