bigbasket, the Tata Group-owned online grocery platform, recorded a 500 per cent year-on-year growth in festive sales during Diwali 2025, with electronics emerging as the primary growth driver. The surge was fueled by strong demand for iPhones, home appliances, lighting accessories, and audio devices, supported by the company’s partnership with Croma for instant electronics delivery.

The platform saw festive shopping begin 15 days ahead of Diwali, with early sales starting from the first week of October. Dhanteras witnessed particularly strong performance, with gold and silver coin sales jumping 1000 per cent compared to last year.
