Daniela Ruah To Direct ‘ My Type ’ With Sadie Stanley & Jacob Ward

EXCLUSIVE: NCIS: Los Angeles star Daniela Ruah is directing romantic short film My Type , starring Sadie Stanley ( Cruel Summer ) and Jacob Ward ( The Summer House ). Inspired by a true story, My Type follows two twenty-somethings whose shared experience with Type 1 Diabetes sparks an unexpected love connection. Shot on 16mm film, the project reunites Ruah with cinematographer Rafael Leyva ( Narcos: Mexico ). It is produced by Nicole MacNaughton, who is also a manager at Untamed Artists, and her sister, Kimberly Pinkson, under their High High Productions banner.
