Tension gripped passengers aboard an Akasa Air flight from Bengaluru to Delhi when an intoxicated traveller disrupted the journey before takeoff, refusing to sit down and sparking a scene that delayed departure.
A short video clip of the episode, shared on X by Karnataka Portfolio, captures the unsettling moment. With everyone else buckled in and ready for takeoff, the visibly drunk man began arguing, shouting, and defying the cabin crew’s repeated requests to take his seat.
“The crew handled it so calmly (huge respect), but the chaos was unreal,” read the caption accompanying the viral post. “People recording, some laughing, some annoyed, some just silently praying for takeoff. Eventually, the situation was sorted, but it’s crazy how one person can delay an entire flight full of people.
