Railway sets record with ₹25.06 lakh ticket checking revenue from 3,348 passengers in a single day

Ferozepur, October 23, 2025: In a remarkable achievement, the Ferozepur Division of Indian Railways has set a new record by collecting ₹25.06 lakh in ticket checking revenue in a single day on October 22, 2025 — the highest ever in the division’s history.

Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar and Additional Divisional Railway Manager Nitin Garg, coordinated and well-planned efforts led to this milestone. During the special ticket checking drive across various stations and trains, 3,348 passengers were found traveling without tickets or with irregular travel documents, resulting in total revenue recovery of ₹25.06 lakh through penalties.
