Indian Dog Breeds Contingent to Take Part in Ekta Diwas Parade in Gujarat October 23, 2025

Ekta Nagar: In a historic first, the Border Security Force (BSF) will showcase an exclusive marching contingent of indigenous Indian dog breeds during the upcoming Ekta Diwas Parade at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.

The parade, held to mark National Unity Day, will also feature a special dog training demonstration highlighting the tactical skills and operational excellence of India’s self-reliant K9 force.

Indian dog breeds have long been admired for their courage, loyalty, and endurance, playing vital roles from royal courts to battlefields and forming an enduring part of India’s cultural and martial heritage.
