100 Years Ago, 1925: George VanAiken, Second and Ellsworth streets, who a year ago won the unique distinction of being the oldest active cabinetmaker in the country, is dead. He passed away yesterday afternoon in the Chester Hospital following an attack of pneumonia and he will be buried in a coffin that he made for himself several months ago. Mr. VanAiken was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic and was also affiliated with the West End Boat Club.
