Issues are starting to pile up.

Late last week, the FAA issued an air traffic controller warning as the likes of Southwest Airlines hit 1,550 delays .

The FAA revealed that staffing issues were causing delays at several airports.

The staffing issues did not continue into the new week. However, concerns of delays and cancellations have continued. GOP leaders have stated that "Airports will be flooded with cancellations" the longer the shutdown lasts, raising fears about Thanksgiving travel.
