Hackettstown will host its 12th Annual Halloween Downtown Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 25, bringing together families for an afternoon of costumes, candy and community festivities.

The family-friendly event runs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Gazebo on Main Street and West Moore Street, featuring a Halloween parade, costume contest and trick-or-treating opportunities throughout downtown.

The celebration will begin with the costume contest lineup and judging at 2 p.m. at Centenary University on West Moore Street between Beatty Street and Second Avenue. Contest winners will lead the Halloween parade alongside Mayor Jerry DiMaio when it steps off at 3 p.m., traveling down West Moore Street to the Gazebo.
