MOORHEAD — As Moorhead High gears up for its first trip to Minnesota's Class 6A state football tournament, they do so with a high-flying offense and one of the best receivers in the state.
"I played basketball, baseball, and football growing up," said Moorhead junior David Mack. "My dad did not like me playing tackle football, so I played mostly flag football."
Moorhead’s football team sure is glad Mack’s dad eventually let him play tackle football.
The chemistry he and quarterback Jett Feeney have built over the years turned Mack into a touchdown-scoring machine.
“We have a bunch of signals, a bunch of signs that we do if we see something and we want to change it, we can do that anytime," Mack explained.
