Yet another case of an Indian citizen being forced to fight Ukrainian forces for Russia has come to the fore. The latest victim is Telangana-native Mohammed Ahmed who was tricked by an agent to join the Russian Armed Forces.
The wife of the 37-year-old man has claimed that he has fractured a leg after jumping from a moving vehicle that was taking him to the frontlines. Seventeen of the 26 people who trained with him ahead of the said departure have died fighting already, and this includes another Indian citizen, the woman identified as Afsha Begum said.
