A well-known New Hampshire restaurant has announced its reopening date after a fire damaged their building earlier this month.

The Old Salt and Lamie's Inn, located on Route 1 in downtown Hampton, suffered serious water damage as the result of an attic fire on Oct. 13. They initially said they were closed for the rest of the day, but it appears that closure will continue for a while longer.

"On October 13th we had a small fire in an attic area. Four sprinkler heads let go and water rained for hours above eight Inn rooms," the owners said in a Facebook post Wednesday.
