LEAGUE CITY, Texas – She was a young mother from League City who helped families through grief, never realizing her own family would face it in the worst way.
Savannah Kinchen was killed by her husband in 2020.
Now, four years later, her parents are turning their pain into purpose, using Savannah’s story to raise awareness about the rise in domestic violence across Texas and to help others escape it.
According to the Texas Council on Family Violence, 161 Texans were killed by intimate partners last year, including 47 deaths in Harris County, the highest in the state.
