Eagles have decoded A.J. Brown’s cryptic messages. Is a trade next?

Another week, another A.J. Brown mini-controversy.

Ho-hum.

Confession: I wrote that lede nine days ago after the Eagles lost to the Giants . Brown said he couldn’t recall a meeting he was supposedly involved in with teammates Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley the day after the Eagles’ home loss to the Denver Broncos.

“I don’t recall a meeting,” he said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Told that Hurts and Barkley both confirmed the meeting, Brown said, “Oh, you have to talk to them. I don’t recall (a meeting).”
