BLUFFTON, S.C. (WTOC) - One man has been arrested following a bank robbery on October 22, 2025, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

This is the same bank robbery which WTOC previously reported as the cause of yesterday’s USCB Bluffton Campus lockdown .

Officials say Jasper County Communications received a 911 call reporting a bank robbery in progress at TD Bank, located at 13 University Parkway (Route 112) in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Both the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the Hardeeville Police Department responded to the scene.

The JCSO says witnesses described the suspect as a black male who fled the area on a bicycle.
