LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Early clouds will slide more to the east this afternoon to increase the amount of sunshine overhead. Temperatures will remain cool in the 50s much of the day with a brief climb into the 60-degree range later this afternoon.

A Freeze Warning goes into effect overnight. Clear skies are expected most of the night with high clouds near sunrise. For now, those look delayed enough to still allow for a drop in temperatures into the upper 20s/lower 30s away from the city.

Upper-level clouds increase across the region on Friday
