Morristown West hasn’t had the season that it envisioned in 2025.

However, the Trojans (2-6, 1-2 Region 1-5A) could salvage some of their goals with a win at Cocke County (0-8, 0-3), which would secure a fifth straight playoff berth under head coach Alvin Sanders.

“We just got to continue to build off our success from last week,” Sanders said. “It’s been a long time since we were able to put back-to-back games together, back-to-back wins. So it’s continuing to build off what we were doing right now. I think we’ve kind of got it figured out as players, what our role is and what we need to do. We’ve got it figured out as coaches to get more out of our guys.
