RUTLEDGE – Fresh off their bye week, the Grainger Grizzlies return to action on Friday to face their biggest challenge of the season.
The Grizzlies are still in search of their first win against Greeneville as the Greene Devils have won all of the previous 15 contests played between the two schools. This year’s edition of Greeneville is just as talented as any in the past as they are ranked second in the state in 4-A and are 7-1 on the season with the lone loss coming in a classic game against then top-ranked Sevierville.
“Greeneville is a really great program and they have probably the best team since I’ve been here at Grainger,” Grizzlies head coach Michael Manis said of the Devils. “They are really athletic and big up front. This week, it’s been a focus on us as we did a lot of good t
