Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday claimed RJD chief Lalu Yadav forced his allies to declare his son Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate of the opposition bloc for the upcoming assembly elections.
“The people of Bihar gave RJD 15 years to govern, but in return, they received loot, murder, and corruption. Today, the corrupt, the son of a convicted criminal, dreams of becoming the Chief Minister of Bihar. The INDIA Alliance has decided to make the son of a thief, a registered criminal, the chief minister. This is a day that shames both democracy and Bihar,” the minister said.

Commenting on Tejashwi Yadav’s promises, Choudhary said, “He claims he will provide government jobs to 2.7 crore people. Currently, there are about 22 lakh governme
