Savoie has just one point in seven games so far this year, an assist after winning the face-off in OT against Ottawa that kicked off the sequence leading to Jake Walman’s winning goal. It was a big play but Savoie had struggled so far to both put up points but also to create Grade A shots. He’s only helped create 8 Grade A shots in total in seven games, 1.1 per game, which isn’t exactly top line
