BAY CITY, MI – McLaren Bay Region has broken ground on a $53.6 million facility in Bay City as the hospital looks to expand its services and improve health care access in the area.
The multispecialty medical campus, McLaren Bay West , will be located on Midland Road. The campus is between 2 Mile Road and North Euclid Avenue and was once the site of the former McLaren Bay Special Care .
“McLaren Bay West marks a purposeful step forward in our ongoing commitment to serve the Great Lakes Bay Region with greater access, expanded services, and the highest quality of care,” Tom Keller, President and CEO of McLaren Bay Region, said in a statement.
A ground-breaking ceremony was held at the site on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The two-story, 50,000-square-foot campus is expected to increase access
