KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Kansas Police Department seized enough fentanyl to kill thousands of people while serving a warrant in downtown.

The raid was conducted at a home that was a short-term rental. Police said the owner helped in the investigation and is not facing charges in the case.

The department said it’s Narcotics and Special Operations Units seized the following drugs on Oct. 16th:

4,186 grams of fentanyl (9.2 lbs.)

64.6 grams of methamphetamine (2 ½ ounces)

232.8 grams of marijuana (half pound)

786 miscellaneous pills (most will contain fentanyl)

Officers also seized 11 guns. Two of the weapons have fully automatic switches.
