An EastEnders legend has said ‘save a glass for me’ as the stars of the BBC soap paid tribute to Hollyoaks on its 30th anniversary.
EastEnders celebrated its 40th anniversary earlier in the year, with a dramatic explosion taking place at the iconic Queen Vic pub.
Boasting an hour-long episode, as well as a live episode, scenes aired in February saw fan favourite character Martin Fowler lose his life from crushed person syndrome.
The special week also saw Anita Dobson making her return as Angie Watts for the first time in decades, with the former bar owner appearing to Sharon Watts in a vision.
In what’s proved to be a celebratory year for UK soaps, this week has seen Hollyoaks marking 30 years since it premiered on Channel 4 .
