It has been a busy week for the Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committees as the Class of 2026 starts to take shape.
The reduction process continued Thursday with the announcement of 34 players who moved one step closer to Canton in the Seniors category.
Quarterback Charlie Conerly and linebacker Carl Banks made the next round from an original pool of 162 nominees.
Conerly (No. 13) and Banks (No. 17) were both ranked in the Giants’ Top 100 Players last year to celebrate the 100th season.
Defensive back Everson Walls, who is known for his days in Dallas but won his only Super Bowl with the Giants in 1990, also made the list of 34 Seniors to be considered for the Class of 2026.
To be considered for the "Seniors" category, players must have last played at least 25 full seasons ago
