Man Found Dead At Route 9 Strip Mall In Parlin: Prosecutor

A 72-year-old homeless man was found dead at a strip mall near Route 9 in Parlin on Wednesday, Oct. 22, authorities said.

At 2:02 p.m., Sayreville police responded to 499 Ernston Rd. and found Dhirubhai Patel dead on the side of the building, the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office said. 

Sayreville police are handling the investigation, prosecutors said. The death is under investigation pending an autopsy, prosecutors said. There is no threat to the public, prosecutors said.
