A Lyft driver is facing charges after he allegedly shot at his passengers Wednesday, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the scene at Spring Villas Circle in reference to a shooting. They discovered two brothers, one who had been shot and the other attempting to render aid.

The third person, 33-year-old Rolando Rivera-Casillas, had his hands and a firearm on the hood of an SUV, OCSO said.

The brothers told law enforcement that they were in a verbal argument with their driver. The two of them told deputies that when they exited the vehicle, the driver got out and began shooting at them.

One of the brothers was shot twice, in the abdomen and foot. The other brother was not shot, deputies say.
