OSTRAVA — Tyler McGregor scored twice, including the winning goal, and Canada defeated China 4-2 on Thursday at the International Para Hockey Cup.
McGregor’s third and fourth goals of the tournament helped Canada improve to seven points (two regulation wins and an overtime loss) at the tournament.
Auren Halbert had a goal and an assist, and Rob Armstrong also scored for Canada, while Dominic Cozzolino added two assists.
Jean-François Huneault made 12 saves for Canada and chipped in with an assist.
Yutao Cui and Dian Peng Qiu scored for China, which has six points (two regulation wins and a regulation loss). Yanzhao Ji made nine stops.
