Portland Trailblazers coach Chauncey Billups, a Colorado prep basketball legend who went on to a hall-of-fame professional career, was arrested Oct. 23 in conjunction with a gambling probe involving people with NBA ties and organized crime.

Billups was among more than 30 people named across two indictments , including current Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and former NBA player and assistant coach Damon Jones. Billups was expected to be arraigned later in the day and was accused of involvement in an illegal poker operation alongside Jones and several organized crime figures. Rozier and Jones were accused in a separate indictment of sharing inside information to benefit gamblers.
