Bethesda’s Fallout Day livestream has announced anniversary editions for Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas, but they’re not what fans have been hoping for.
Today is the second annual celebration of Fallout Day, with October 23 being the date that the US and China decided to nuke each other in the franchise’s fictional history (following the US annexing Canada, which all seems disturbingly topical at the moment).
Not much got announced last year, and so anyone hoping for a hint about Fallout 5 must’ve known they were going to be disappointed this time round. Although director and producer Todd Howard did put in an appearance and made a very vague allusion to new games, without ever being specific about what they were.
