On Wednesday the learned that the North Bay Regional Health Centre is cutting 40 positions stating in an email to the Nugget, “We are making these changes to find savings of $5.6 million dollars. These will be partially offset by 14 new positions and minimized by early exit, retirement and redeployment offers.”
On Thursday the North Bay Regional Health Centre leadership followed up with another letter to expand on that decision.
