LISBON Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has sued a Columbiana County non-profit for the alleged misuse of charitable funds.
According to a press release from the Ohio Attorney General's Office, Yost filed a lawsuit against Rogers-based non-profit Lamb's House, alleging that board president Mark Altomare used charitable funds to cover personal expenses like food, gasoline, utility bills, streaming service subscriptions and more.
Additionally, the suit alleges that the non-profit allowed Altomare to live rent-free on Lamb's House's 43-acre property meant for those recovering from addiction.
The suit states that the non-profit has been around since 2002 and was meant to serve as a ministry supporting addiction recovery. However, the suit alleges it has not served any charitable purpose
