UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV) -- That stubborn low-pressure system spinning over the Great Lakes is finally on its way out by Friday, though it’s not leaving quietly! A few leftover showers will hang around Central New York, but they’ll be much lighter and more scattered than earlier in the week. You might even catch a few breaks of sunshine between the clouds. It’ll stay on the chilly side, with highs stuck near 50 degrees once again, and over the higher elevations Thursday night, a few wet snowflakes could even mix in — but don’t expect anything to stick.
