The Sherwood Park Crusaders recently completed a challenging road trip to British Columbia, emerging with a 1-3 record over the week. While the string of losses to Langley, Coquitlam, and Victoria may appear discouraging, the organization views the week as an essential part of the process, using the intense early season adversity to mold their young roster for future success.

The four-game stretch, compressed into just five days, tested the team’s mental and physical limits. Cru general manager and head coach Brennan Menard acknowledged the difficulty of the schedule, noting that four games in five nights in junior hockey, coupled with travel, is “just so much hockey”.
