HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Sue Kissinger, Chief Deputy Probation Officer in District 10, has been selected as Chief Probation Officer for District 10, consisting of Adams, Clay, Nuckolls, Webster, Kearney, Phelps, Harlan and Franklin Counties. Sue will begin her new role on Nov. 1, 2025.
Sue earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Nebraska. She began her career with Probation in 1985, serving as a Probation Officer in both Districts 5 and 10 until 1995, when she became an Intensive Supervision Probation (ISP) Officer in District 10. Sue was promoted to ISP Coordinator in 1996, a position she held until 2008, when she was appointed Chief Deputy in Districts 9 and 10. Since 2012, Sue has served as Chief Deputy in District 10.
