No threat to public after shooting at Baldwin Weso gas station

BALDWIN — Authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the public after a shooting on Wednesday at the Wesco gas station in Baldwin.

According to an Oct. 23 news release from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting appears to have been an isolated incident and the suspected shooter is in custody.

Martin confirmed that one male individual was shot and is deceased as a result of the shooting.

Sheriff Rich Martin said a full press release with additional details will be issued at a later time.
