The Sims offers a place where anyone can escape from reality to dive into a world of their very own design. The countless hours spent designing your dream home, creating the perfect character in create a sim, or simply exploring the wonders of life. Sadly, this might all be coming to an untimely end for mobile users. After seven years and more than 50 updates, Electronic Arts announced Sunday that The Sims Mobile will shut down for good come January.
The change goes into effect on January 20, 2026. The decision was announced in a blog post on the EA website.
