The two-minute video depicts a fight between two groups escalating to the point where two individuals were violently assaulted with blows and kicks and left lying on the road.

East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem stated that the incident appeared to involve “some drunks fighting in the morning” who fled before the police arrived.
