On Thursday, the Professional Women’s Hockey League team announced it has signed two-year contract extensions with forwards Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey and goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens, who “have been the heart and soul of our team since Day 1,” according to General Manager Danièle Sauvageau in a statement by the team. The three were the first players signed by the team in September 2023, and were also the three protected by it during the expansion draft this summer.
