KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee starting quarterback Joey Aguilar has officially been added to the 2025 Manning Award watch list, according to a release from the university.

The release said the Allstate Sugar Bowl announced Thursday that Aguilar was added to the list, which recognizes the top quarterback in the nation.

"The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in honor of the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning," the release said. "It is the only quarterback award that includes the candidates' postseason performances in its balloting."

Finalists will be chosen before the postseason, with the winner set to be announced the following playoff National Championship.
