BEREA — There may not have been Bubba Ventrone the coach if it wasn't for Mike Vrabel . Then again, Bubba Ventrone admits he owes a lot of what he was as a player as well to the New England Patriots player-turned-head coach .

“Yeah, I mean, Mike has really been my … I would say a guy that I’ve looked up to since I was a rookie, both as a player and now as a coach," Ventrone said Oct. 23. "Really good relationship with Mike. Have learned a lot from him and continue to learn from him a lot. You know, have gone against him quite a bit, obviously when he was in Tennessee and I was in Indy (Indianapolis). He does a really good job with his team.
